105 COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS FROM THE CENTRAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT WILL BUILD “CHILDREN`S CORNERS” IN THE WORKPLACE

A total of 86 companies and 19 institutions from the central and local government will create children's corners in the workplace, which will take care of more than 1,700 children of their employees. The projects are implemented under the Children's Corners Measure of the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development”, the total value of the approved projects is over BGN 6.6 million. 62 projects have been approved, 16 of which will be implemented in partnership.

 

278 babysitters will be employed in the newly created children's corners, who will be hired through the Labor Offices. If they have no previous experience in working with children, they will be provided with training. Under the Children's Corners Measure the remuneration of babysitters is covered for a period of up to 12 months, as it is in accordance with the average gross salary in the Human health and social work sector. The amount of the babysitters' salary will depend on whether the services in the children's corners are hourly or full-time.

 

The largest project has a total value of nearly BGN 214,000, and the smallest - nearly BGN 55,000. Depending on the size of the company, a co-financing rate is provided. Children's corners will be built in the municipal administrations of Smyadovo, Novi Pazar, Topolovgrad, Sarnitsa, Saedinenie, Svoge, Stambolovo, Popovo, Burgas, Glavinitsa, Elin Pelin, Simitli, Nedelino, Kneja, Venets, Botevgrad, Kostinbrod, Dimovo, as well as in Ministry of Finance.
